Have not built it yet, but very clear instructions.
Very complete and detailed instructions
The plans for the 8-ft picnic table are a great bargain for the price and include all the necessary details. I am very pleased with the finish project.
A few notes/corrections:
1) The materials list has a typo regarding the 2x6 @ 8-ft lumber, indicating it at 144 inches[which is for the 6-ft table plans which calls for 12-ft boards]; 8-ft is of course 96 inches; same typo for the 2x4 @ 6-ft boards;
2) more importantly, the Materials List indicates a Quantity of 15 boards of 8-ft length, when only 14 boards are needed; and
3) Assembly Step 1 indicates a bottom portion of the overhang length on Component C of 7-1/2 inches, which i found unachievable in connection with achieving the 5 other measurements on that page. Closest i could gets 7-3/4".
Other than those minor issues, the plans worked great as illustrated.
It was fantastic turned out great.
I haven't built this yet. The instructions seem to overly explained. I guess some people need that. For me a materials list, cut sheet and assembly diagram would have sufficed.
